I just purchased the pet rescue documentary "Dark Water Rising" and would like discuss it with you all prior to showing it at an upcoming meeting.

There may be times in your life that you are called upon to act quickly and perform first aid on a victim, whether it’s a minor or very serious injury. Learn what is included in a well-stocked and functional First Aid kit, as well as the skills and tools needed to address accident until professional medical helps is attainable.

In this certification course, you will learn the lifesaving skills necessary to help resuscitate unconscious children and adults. You'll also learn how and when an AED (automated external defibrillator) may be used, and what it does to help resuscitate a victim.

MRC 101 Orientation Course

Participants will learn about the history and origin of the Medical Reserve Corps. The overall program will be discussed, the eight core competencies and the roles and responsibilities of MRC volunteers will be reviewed as will the Policy and Procedure Manual of Western MA MRC. This course satisfies a basic training requirement for the Berkshire MRC. Location of Course is North Adams Public Library, third floor, conference room.

The North Adams Public Library is located in the center of the city, at the head of Main Street where it intersects with Church Street. At the intersection is a statue of a Civil War soldier.
