Class seating is limited to 9 people. Preference will be given to - and class fee will be waved for - DART team members who can document the completion of other/online training prior to this course (such as ICS and Animal Sheltering). Those who wish to come but who are not able to commit to completing other training at this time will have a discounted fee of $40 for the training, which will include a book and CD. Participants will learn about the history and origin of the Medical Reserve Corps. The overall
program will be discussed, the eight core competencies and the roles and responsibilities of MRC volunteers will be reviewed as will the Policy and Procedure Manual of Western MA MRC. This course satisfies a basic training requirement for the Berkshire MRC. This is an evening course beginning at 6:30. The Library is the former Sim Lab.
